A very nice 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible that is so comfortable you might be scared to fall asleep while driving it.
Exterior:
The exterior of this beautiful Series 62 is very good, the paint is in good condition and it is a very nice, original color called Apollo Yellow. The convertible roof is made out of beautiful beige fabric. All chrome work is in excellent condition such as the front bumper, rear bumper, mirror and moldings. The rims and tires are also in very good condition. The tires have whitewalls.
Interior:The leather seats finished in red are in very good condition and show some minor ageing signs but no signs of any tears, rips or stains. All original clocks and counters are present and are in working condition. The car also has an original radio and is equipped with electric windows and a searchlight that can be operated from inside the car.
The mechanics:
The technology of this Cadillac is very good. The engine, its original 331ci/160hp V8 runs excellent. The power is transmitted by a very well-shifting 4-speed automatic hydra-matic gearbox. The brakes are also in good condition and function well, the car drives very comfortable.
The history:This Cadillac Series 62 Convertible was delivered new in America in 1949. The car has been restored in America and has driven +- 8,500 miles after restoration. The car has a USA title, all import duties have been paid.
